Public agencies and EGA unveiled a new name and a new look for the former Eastside Rail Corridor, reflecting the multi-use vision for the corridor
Back in 2017, public agency stakeholders endorsed the EGA’s proposal to rebrand the Eastside Rail Corridor. Now, we're thrilled to help roll out a new name and regional brand for the Eastside Rail Corridor to help build community support for, and knowledge of, the corridor.
EGA members joined people from the community, elected officials, and public agency staff for a bike ride to explore the Eastrail as part of the brand unveiling on July 20, 2019.
Our hope for the future brand was to reflect the regional value of the corridor and inspire a sense of pride in the vision and reality of the corridor. The new name certainly evokes Eastrail's rail past and trail future!
